Inspired by the rapid growth of urban farming in Havana, Cuba, Jacob Aman spreads his "Green Revolution" throughout Washington state's highly populated Puget Sound region.

Last year, the Seattle City Council passed the Local Foods Action Initiative, asking to reinforce the growth of farmer's markets, aid residents in raising agricultural animals, and provide a sustainable composting process at local food banks.

Through regional efforts and the support of state and local government, Aman predicts grown food dependency to increase up to 25% by 2015, encouraging similar metropolitan areas to follow suit.
