The Singing Plant art installation gives feedback in the form of sounds and light when it is touched. The more people touch it, the more it responds. The sound gains volume and the light in the room grows from dim to bright.

"The purpose is not to provide answers, but to question established preceptions of the relationship between man, machine and nature."

The project was created by Half Machine, an international group of artists producing interactive art installations, dance performances, concert events, and collaborative art experiments that encourage audience participation.
