A Global Campfire

On May 10th, 2008, Pangea Day will feature a 4-hour program of short films, live music and visionary speakers. The event, available in different languages, will be hosted in numerous cities around the globe and available online, on television and via mobile phone.

"It will be a chance for people around the globe to see the world through someone else's eyes. We're calling it the world's first global campfire: A day when we share stories made by the world for the world."

In these videos, Pangea Day supporter Wade Davis describes the shamanic nature of film and the power of "writing with light the dreams of the human spirit."  Robin Williams, Forest Whitaker and David Blaine will also speak about storytelling and magic.
