Since forming in 2006, the five-member Nikki Borodi Band have played their own brand of music influenced by such various artists as Kate Bush, Portishead, Morcheeba, and Jimmy Hendrix. Nikki Borodi sings and plays guitar and bass with the support of fellow members rapping and beatboxing, playing guitar, bass, electric percussion, and even violin. She sings about the Law of Attraction in songs like “Be it” and “Accept Me” with lyrics like “I create the world that pays me.” The leading songstress also has a couple small businesses making custom knit sweaters for dogs called Woof Wearz and running Belly Art, a body painting service for pregnant women. Her versatile talents in music and interest in personal transformation definitely make The Nikki Borodi Band worth a listen.
