Alex Grey
[The Ayahuasca Monologues] • Visionary artist Alex Grey shares his hilarious, horrific, and heartening adventures with "the champagne of ayahuascas." He visits "all the horrors wrought on humanity," but comes out exploring fantastical landscapes that inspire his paintings while uncovering the ultimate lesson: "to surrender to love." [Video]

Can you see me now?
Cool. I loved his impression of the chastising voice, taking him to task about his attempt at Buddha-hood. The point he wraps up on, surrendering to love; first loving yourself, is beautiful. I might have said discovering that you love yourself but I am not Alex Grey and have not taken Ayahuasca. He's a petty cool cat and his story telling is very entertaining and uplifting, much like his art. And facial expressions!
Phi is not the only fruit.I always enjoy hearing Alex
I always enjoy hearing Alex speak, he is just such a down to earth guy with something to say!
I put together a little dittie for this podcast I'm working on, and you can give it a listen at the link: http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/8/10/2044326/Sanchos%20Stuff/Alex%20Gr...
It's Alex talking about his first Aya trip but from another video on YouTube somewhere. . .and the background is Tool's song "Lost Keys(Blame Hoffman)" which is beautiful and hypnotic.

Alex & the Cosm Tour
Alex has got such a down-to-earth attitude and wonderful sense of humor in describing strange and visionary things. If you haven't taken his personal tour of the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors in NYC, I highly recommend it, especially since they'll be moving soon. He really does bring you into the heart and story of what was behind each painting.
Alex you must visit Vancouver
