Jonathan graduated with honors in philosophy and English from Ursinus College
and has an MA in English from NYU. He is an author, journalist, teacher and philosopher who has written extensively on human evolution, contemporary mythology and many other subjects. Jonathan has worked
in a variety of fields—as a staff gemologist and instructor at the
Gemological Institute of America, as dean and English teacher of a public high
school in the South Bronx, as a wilderness guide and in various roles as
a writer and speaker. He currently resides in Boulder, Colorado. A
