Biographical

Martin was born in Berkeley, California but raised in New England, Michigan and Maryland and now lives in New York City. Being raised by a biologist and a therapist fostered an interest in the intersecting roads of science/empiricism and one's inner emotional and spiritual life. His primary passions are theater and film. He has worked creatively as an actor, a stage director, a filmmaker and a writer. He works with collaborative processes inspired by Open Space technology, the Michael Chekhov acting technique and English director Phelim McDermott.

He administers and participates in The Open Class, an acting class and collaborative space taught and facilitated by Ragnar Freidank. 

Interests

I'm an enthusiast of theater and film, fantasy and SF, alternative comics, the archaic revival, natural philosophy, technology, Buddhism, paganism, shamanism and ecology.
