How dark, oh God,
Or gods, if a pantheon thou art
How dark are thy decrees
That set your children spilling blood
To glorify thy name?
What dark faith dost thou inspire
In those that you create?
From ancient laws carved deep in stone
Spawn modern practices of hate
Hast thou grown apathetic
In your nihilistic host?
Are your creations a mistake?
Or are you, in your singularity
Unable to control what you create?
Thou who set the stars to shining
That I humbly observe
I implore thee hear and answer me
Oh God, or gods, if a pantheon thou art.
