A Europe-wide study analyzed wastewater from over 50 European cities to identify drug patterns. The study identified the usage of cocaine, amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, and cannabis. The results are available to view through a map-based tool and a charting tool.
The usage of cocaine is most popular in London, with the Netherlands, Belgium, and Switzerland following closely behind. The Netherlands and Belgium have the largest portions of amphetamine users, while methamphetamine usage is singularly high in Norway. Cannabis and MDMA usage is also notably higher in the Netherlands than any other country.
