Debuted at the Wisdom Festival in San Francisco earlier this year, Paradice "is a game about how Humans respond to opportunity in the pursuit of happiness," says its creator, John O'Neill. "Their options are to acquire as much as possible, or seek share points of view and balance life on our small island in the Universe by gaining the power to Give."
Paradice players utilize strategy and opportunity to collaborate with fellow players and strive to create the Blue Pyramid (pictured), and is intended to serve as a tool for insight rather than a distraction. The game is structured to appeal to veteran gamers and newcomers alike, and its ecological design extends to its hand-poured, recycled and wooden components.
