Uranus and Pluto in the dynamic square aspect promise a totalizing effect that
catalyzes a radical shapeshift in culture, stripping us of what is no
longer essential and what has outlived its usefulness. It will be up to the artists, healers, and lightworkers to vibrate at a
frequency so high as to magnetize others in our collective ascension to
a more enlightened species.
2011 promises to be a
very active year with strong surges of change and evolutionary potential, due
to Jupiter's inspiring acceleration through Aries, and the year's four Solar
Eclipses. We haven't had this many solar
eclipses in a year since 1917.
Attending to one's dreams,
waking visions, and synchronicities is the foundation of shamanic
consciousness, and was an integral component of the ancient world, especially
through the dream healing practices related to the Greek god of healing,
Asclepius, known in the heavens as Ophiuchus.
As we accelerate our transformation of collective consciousness, we attract more intense and significant relationships. How can we fulfill our soul agreements through appropriate relating rather than social conditioning?
With the preponderance of planets in Libra and Scorpio, it is an especially
appropriate time for couples' counseling, for pujas, for tantric practice and
sex magic, and group circles about relating. Anyone with planets in
Scorpio or a Scorpio rising will be triggered with extra force during this
retrograde, as will the entire Pluto in Scorpio generation (1984-1996).
Each planet and sign rule or have affinity with certain
elements of the weather or nature. Capricorn rules the mountains and
Pluto rules volcanoes. The Earth's rumbling intensity of 2010 in
Haiti, Indonesia, Chile, Los Angeles, Tibet, and Iceland signify the
beginnings of many transformational, tectonic shifts over the next
decade.

The Saturn-Pluto transit can promote a fear vibration; we may see more freak-outs and chaotic outbursts. Transmuting this dark shadow, shamanic, cathartic practice will help us navigate the inner friction that is clawing its way to the surface.
