Douglas Rushkoff is an American media theorist, writer, columnist, lecturer, graphic novelist and documentarian. He is best known for his advocacy of open source solutions to social problems, and also has written many books on topics including society, media, and technology. Rushkoff also had the first syndicated column in the New York Times on cyberculture.
