Halloween season invites an eerie chill in the air, and pumpkins are finding their way into a variety of beverages as the superstar ingredient. Traditionally speaking, the spooky season is the time where the veil gets thinner and we’re able to connect with the other side more easily. So, whether you’re looking for a deep, soul-bending experience or to simply kick back and relax, these psychedelic cocktails are sure to get you in the Halloween spirit.
Trip or Treat Shroom Tonic
Take in the magic of Halloween with this easy psilocybin sipper. It’s zesty, sweet and reminiscent of some of our favorite finds from our trick-or-treating candy haul.
Ingredients:
- 2 oranges, medium
- 1 lemon
- 1 apple
- 1-inch ginger root
- ginger beer
- magic mushrooms, finely ground
How to Make:
If you don’t have a juicer — Create your own juice mixture with two parts orange juice, one part apple juice and one fully squeezed lemon. For the ginger, you can boil raw ginger root to create ginger tea, or be sure to opt for an extra-strong ginger beer.
Fill a collins glass halfway with the juice mixture, then mix in your desired amount of mushroom powder. Refrigerate for 10 minutes, then top with ginger beer when ready to serve. For aesthetics, line the rim of the glass with sweet and sour powder and throw in a cute, decorative straw.
If you have a juicer — Peel the oranges, lemon, apple and ginger, then throw them into your juicer to create a sweet and tangy juice. Using a juicer will let you control the amount of sugar that goes into your drink, so if you’re sugar-conscious or don’t have a huge sweet tooth, this method might be for you.
Lemon Spook-tek-ular
This libation is a fun twist on lemon tekking, offering a fast and intense hit of psilocybin and psilocin. Your trip will be a bit quicker too, lasting only a couple of hours instead of the average eight.
Ingredients:
- Dried magic mushrooms, finely ground
- 2 lemons (or one lemon and one lime for flavor)
How to Make:
With a coffee or weed grinder, grind your dried mushrooms into a fine powder. Juice two lemons (or lime) into a glass. Be sure to remove all seeds. Add one teaspoon of mushroom powder and whisk until completely incorporated. Let the mixture settle for 20 minutes while stirring occasionally.
This drink will have a strong taste, so drink it quickly. If your stomach is sensitive to high acidity, try eating something 30 minutes beforehand. You can experiment with other citrus fruits for taste, but lemons and limes have the best acidity levels for tekking.

Pumpkin Shroom Latte
Who said a PSL had to be basic? This take on the fall classic will make you feel positively wicked.
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup dairy-free milk (cashew or hemp)
- ¼ cup water
- Magic mushroom powder
- 2½ tbsp pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie mix)
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- 1 pinch allspice
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 pinch clove
- 1 ½ – 2 tsp sweetener to taste (maple syrup, agave, sugar, stevia, etc)
- 1 shot espresso or sub ¼ cup strong brewed coffee
How to Make:
Prepare your coffee or espresso, then set to the side. In a saucepan, bring the dairy-free milk and water to a simmer, then add your spices, sweetener, and whisk until smooth. Pour your coffee into the mix, and whisk again. You can either whisk your mushroom powder into the mixture for a stronger hit or sprinkle it on top of your caffeinated concoction once in a mug for something lighter.
