Quick follow up from me. Thanks for all the comments! Here is a comment from a guy named Jason who wrote to me after reading this piece. Like me, a Brit now living on the U.S. West Coast who had been home visiting family in recent weeks. Thought some of you might find it interesting; I'm sure this is not an isolated experience. Discuss in 200 words or less….

One night at myparents house I was doing some geometric artwork on the computer and designingsome geometric shapes that I plan to print on some t-shirts at some stage. Whatamazed me was the geometry I had been working on appeared in a formation thefollowing morning! I have always had a desire that something like this wouldunfold – and it appeared in wheat on August 2nd on Morgan's Hill. Naturally, Idrove down there immediately to see it. (BTW, I used to get my Mum and dad todrive me around Wiltshire..!)?http://www.cropcircleconnector.com/2009/morganshill/morganhill2009.html?
In the circle I met someinteresting characters (including Stuart Dike for the first time – he runs theCropCircle Connector website) and thankfully avoided the angry farmer whoapparently got very resistant and angry. One nice guy Paul, who drove abeautiful old red Citroen van, told me that personal experiences like mine arequite common. Often meditators receive gifts in this way.
My response to Jason was to share this story, which still makes me smile:
I had the same experience as you re the geometry on the shirt! On August 9th, I was in the barn by my mum's house, jump roping a la Rocky.(Part of a kind of training I do). I look up and a beautiful snowy white owlswoops in, circles me, lands on the post, and watches me with enormous darkheart shaped eyes. I say, "hello, owl" and we have a moment. I lookup the owl as totem owl: it's about psychic intuition, meditation, the moon, the night…… I am really struck by this and think and talk about it topeople, post about it on my facebook page–from sheer wonder and delight atthat exchange with this gorgeous bird.
The next day I check for circles online. I literally jump frommy chair and yelp with euphoric goosebumps!

Are we creating them? Are we 'catching' impulses (cognitions) ofwhat is in the ether, what is about to be formed? How amazing our powers ofcreation are, in either scenario.
2. I met Paul in the red van! At the first circle i went to thissummer, the hummingbird one. Then again at the conference!
