Now, we ask you a question about your lives and what you require to know yourselves through. You self-identify through the things you see before you. You know your name because somebody says it. You know your identity because you were told who you were by other people. If there was nobody to say your name, who would you be? What would you claim? What would the name you are called be?
We will tell you the name, “I am,” that is your true name and nothing else. Anything you know yourself as is a temporary frame, a way of seeing the self in reflection through the creations of mankind. You are gifted with a name at the time of your birth as a way to know the self on this journey you have on this plane, but the name you hold is an emblem, it is not who you are. It is there for the others to call you to dinner, so you may sign your name on a bill, so you may know yourself in conversation.
The truth of who you are exists well beyond this name – well beyond it – and will be there long after that name you know has gone to dust. You are flowers, you see. You bloom again and each time you bloom you have an expression, a way of seeing the self in the field you exist in. You see yourselves around others and you say, “Oh, I must resemble them; this is who is with me.” And you know yourselves by the names you’ve been given or the names you have claimed.
A rose does not know it is a rose, it is a bloom, it is a living thing and the name it holds has been gifted to it. You are the same, each and every one of you. Each and every one you will ever meet is the same.
Now, the fear you have, each and every one of you, is that the name you hold will keep you back from the true self and at the same time you demand to be called by the small name. The names we give you, each one of you, is your true name – “I know who I am. I know what I am. I know how I serve.” And the fear-based self who clings to identity that she can see, that she can claim in her purview, in the landscape she exists in is defiant, “I will not know my True Self because my True Self may not care about the things I care so much about.” “I must be this, I must be that, in order to know myself as I believe I am to be.”
Now, the beliefs you hold, one and all, were gifted to you by others. Each one of you here grew up in a system where you were taught what was important. And because you didn’t know a damn thing better, you agreed to it and your culture agrees to it and you are stuck with the creations of history – those things that came before you that others decided were so imperative, you exist in, and because they have always been there, you cannot decide for yourselves that there is no truth to them. The only truth anything has is that which you endow it with. And the history you hold, the planetary history, is born in shared agreement from many people over the course of time who decided things.
When you decide things, you call them into being – they are your purview, your creations. The lives you live in many ways are reflections of those things you were taught to care about, agree with, and were decided for you long before your birth.
Now, on this night, we wish to take you on a journey to a new place, a high place where you are no longer limited by the creations of history. And the creations of history, we say, are those things that you have agreed with that have come into manifestation in your world. The journey you take, you see, when you know who you truly are, demands change. Underline the word, “demands.” Demands change. The life you have lived thus far was done in supplication to the ideals of others, to the religions of the past, to the teachings of the times you came into.
Now, here is the new truth and the only truth you will know – the Divine Self, that aspect of you that comes into manifestation, is born in flesh, knows herself as spirit and she knows her eternal worth. When you begin to access this self, the Divine as you, she begins to claim purview and what she calls to herself is in reflection of her worth. You get very confused, you see, because you base worth on others’ opinions of you, on those things you make – those things you have claimed as so important in this physical realm.
“Well, I must be doing it right,” you say, “look how nice my house is.” “I have such a healthy body, I must be doing it all right.” But you are measuring yourselves still through infinite ways that will surpass these things when you claim your true nature. The Divine as you, you see, the True Self that you are has come to be sung, has come to be led up the mountain that she may know herself as and through. Because as you know yourself in your worth, you understand that all of your creations, each and every one of them, are manifestations of consciousness and the Divine Self is in each thing she sees.
Now, the Divine as you has an obligation to you to be realized as and through you, and as she knows this she calls into being the circumstances required to demonstrate this knowing through. Many of you come here to this class and you say, “Show me. Show me what I am. Make me know myself as you say I must be.” We cannot do that for you but we will lead you up the mountainside one step at a time to the reckoning you need – the facing of the self you require to know who you are as the Divine being you truly are.
So we will say this is a very important class in ascension, and ascending the mountain of consciousness you wish obligates you to transform your lives for the very simple reason that what you have claimed in low consciousness cannot be lifted up the side of the mountain. You must see yourself as the one ascending the landscape and understand very simply that those things that you have known yourself through will be carried by you only to the limit that they can be held.
When you reach a level of vibration you are confronted with choice, “Do I wish to know myself as my fear or do I wish to move beyond it?” If you wish to move beyond it our hands will be there to call you forward and the hands of your fellows, those who are coming into an awareness with you, will be there as well. But the climb is before us all now and we see you each in your readiness, your readiness to ascend to the level of awareness that you may demonstrate yourself through.
Now, the field you hold, the vibratory field, actually holds conscious feelings and conscious knowing and understanding what you feel and what you know will support you on this path. But understanding who you are in relationship to who you thought you were will help you much more. When you begin to see how much you have invested in calling an identity to you that would serve your well-being as a construct to appease a culture or a god or a family, you will begin to understand that you have not been a free man, a free woman, you have been in obligation to a history that wishes to bind you to it.
How do you unbind from your history? We will teach you this now. When you claim these words with us, “I know who I am. I know what I am. I know how I serve. I am here. I am here. I am here,” you are claiming the Kingdom. The Divine Self as you calls her manifestation into present time and expresses herself as and through you. And the landscape she exists in and knows herself through we claim as the Kingdom and the Kingdom, as we have taught, is the awareness of the Creator in all manifestation.
The dominion you hold, you see, is to live in a landscape you choose and the landscape you choose to live in is always a reflection of your consciousness – what you believe should be there and what you were taught would be there. The Divine Self as you is always present and knows her name, “I am.” And the claim, “I am here,” is not the small self announcing herself for supper, it is the Divine Self calling the Kingdom into manifestation.
Now, the fears you hold, in many ways, are lies that you give great power to. And all fear is based in lies and we would say, yes, Paul, because he is asking, “Including the fear of death?” You all hold these fears and you carry them with you as torches that would light your path and what fear illumines is always more fear. The juncture you stand at tonight is to bear witness to yourself as the one who has decided, has decided for herself up until this night how he will be expressed, how she will be expressed in manifestation. And if you wish to pretend you are not the ruler of the kingdom you have claimed thus far, you may ask yourself, “Then who the hell is?”
You are all in dominion, you see, but the aspect of you that calls into being those things you see before you is the small self who was taught to fear. Now, you will understand this teaching very simply, the Divine Self holds no fear. She cannot hold the frequency. He does not know fear because it does not exist at his level of creation. And the one without fear who leads the path, leads the path to the high mountain where we wish you to journey to.
The ascension up the mountainside is the text we write now and the class you are being gifted with. As with any journey, there are adventures to be had – perhaps a sleepless night or two, or we would say to Paul, some discomfort. You don’t want your discomfort, you want things to be nice and happy, “Show me the happy way up the bridge so I don’t have to scale the damn mountain myself.” There is no shortcut here but it is not an arduous climb and the climb itself is a sacred journey because the things you witness up the path are the things that were named by you.
You see your creations as you tread this road. “My fear, my shame, my obligation to my family, those things that I was taught were true that are not so true, the beliefs I have held, the way I was shown by a fool,” these would be the things you witness on the journey up the path and not to condemn anything or anyone but for you to know your true self as the one who said, “yes,” to all of your creations. As long as you play the fool yourself, which is to deny authority in the face of the dominion that you have been gifted with, is to lie to the self. And to lie to the self is to call forth a reckoning in fear.
Now, we will offer you this – each one of you here has already decided something – that you will be known by your true selves, and the true self as you, the Divine Self as you, is your guide up the mountain. And as we have said to you already, the Divine as you holds no fear, holds no fear of self or life or death or what may lay beyond it. As you acquaint yourself with the truth of who you are, you begin to bear witness to a landscape where you are sovereign. You know yourself through your creations, yes, but you are not the victim of them.
Now, how you know yourself thus far has been what you’ve agreed to. We would like you to make a new agreement tonight, and you will say this after us if you like it, “On this night I choose to agree to my own power, to my own dominion as the one who may choose. As I know myself in choice I grant myself the ability to claim my knowing as my Divine birthright. And as I know, I can know myself in my worth, in my creations, as the true self, the Christed Self, the Divine Self who has come to be reborn, re-known, as and through me.”
We congratulate you each, each and every one of you, for the passage you are about to embark on. And as you say, “Yes – yes, I may go, yes, I may choose, yes, I may claim,” we will lift you and the ones beside you to what may be seen from the mountaintop. Now, the journey you’re on will continue long after this class is over but the map that you will hold will see you for a lifetime. Yes, “The Recreation of the Self” is the title of the class but the map you hold is the map to the Christed Self and the Kingdom that she may know.
